Design Thinkers Academy London – Brand, marketing and learning communications

Brand, marketing and learning communications

Project overview

Design Thinkers Academy London delivers training and coaching in design thinking, supporting organisations to navigate complexity and develop innovative, user-centred products and services.

Its communications span marketing, course promotion and a broad suite of learning materials, while remaining closely aligned with its partner consultancy, DK&A.

Design approach

I developed a coherent, flexible communication system designed to work seamlessly across digital, print and live workshop environments.

My role

I worked in-house at Design Thinkers Academy London for seven and a half years, operating in close partnership with DK&A. I led the design and delivery of core brand communications across print and digital channels, working to brand guidelines, including:

  • Course communications and promotional materials
  • Digital e-newsletters (produced in HubSpot and later Mailchimp)
  • Social media design systems to distinguish content types such as blogs, podcasts and events
  • Course prospectuses, welcome packs and workshop decks
  • Workshop tools, maps, and supporting documentation
  • Motion graphics and video assets for workshop promotions
  • Brand identity reference materials, including an ‘at-a-glance’ brand poster
  • Environmental and spatial graphics, including an office display concept supporting workshop delivery

The role required close collaboration with senior leadership, facilitators and the marketing team.
