SPEC – Visual identity and marketing design for a modern furniture manufacturer

Product catalogue system and digital marketing assets

Project overview

SPEC Furniture is a North American furniture manufacturer specialising in durable, high-performance products for healthcare, education, corporate and public environments.

The communications needed to support a growing and evolving product range, presenting technical detail clearly while showcasing product quality and design integrity across print and digital channels.

Design approach

I created a catalogue design that could work across SPEC’s expanding product lines of furniture – whether a single product or a completely new product line.

The layouts were deliberately image-led, giving CGI product imagery space to communicate form and key features. A dedicated product thumbnail section was introduced to clearly present configuration options — such as upholstery, arms and castors — without interrupting the primary visual narrative.

A consistent contact and sign-off section was also developed, using a common logo treatment and placement to bring cohesion and clarity across the brochure range.
